All That You Can't Leave Behind

I thought I'd repost this. Fitting.

Caught in the middle,
On the edge of the dock
In front of you, the ocean of the great unknown
Behind you is comfort, security, a place that you call home.
Do you heed the lulling call of safety, ease and certainty?
Or is the voice of adventure, hazard and danger
driving you onto the boil that will sail this azure sea?
Beyond what your eye can see, past all the dangers and despairs
is a hidden treasure, its greatness unreached and unfathomed.
Think quickly, the sail is almost set
The decision you make might be the best choice ever,
or one you'll regret
The sea might take your life, or bring you uncountable riches, and ultimately, a better place.
Your experiences might like be seeing the devil, face to face
The choice is yours, take it or leave it
But know that Someone is always there for you.
And who knows?
The storms, dangers and adventures might even bring you experiences, wisdom and knowledge.
You came this far to the dock, are you going to walk away from what could be
the greatest treasure of your life?
Or will you take this leap of faith, and charge head on into the storms?

My Point?: Sometimes giving up something that is worth so much to you, might be better for you, and the people around you. Sometimes it might hurt to do so, yet deep inside you know it was the right thing to do. Somehow you find joy, knowing that it was the right thing to do. You might even come out of situations with knowledge and wisdom that has grown tenfold.

So? The sea awaits. =)

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him
fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either
He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you
how to fly! 'The power of one sentence! God is going to
shift things around for you today and let things work in
your favor. If you believe, send it. If you don't
believe, delete it. God closes doors no man can open &
God opens doors no man can close. If you need God to open
